Jenna Ortega fans are still waiting for a second season of Wednesday (the show was renewed for Season 2 in January 2023) to drop on Netflix. While we stand by for another round of the creepy, kooky series, Ortega has been making headlines with her newest movie: Miller’s Girl.
Written and directed by Jade Halley Bartlett, the film centers on a complicated student/teacher relationship between Ortega’s Cairo Sweet and Martin Freeman’s Jonathan Miller. The reviews have been… not great… with Decider’s John Serba writing that he hasn’t seen “this klutzy of an erotic drama since Deep Water.” Yikes.

The film was distributed by Lionsgate, and many of the company’s recent films end up on Starz (Are You There God?
