From “aggressive” pregnant women to Jax Taylor (nuff said), the highly anticipated Vanderpump Rules spinoff The Valley, which premieres next month, has finally released its first look — and if the trailer says anything, this new group of characters has just enough drama to captivate Bravoholics everywhere.

Kristen Doute, most remembered for her antagonistic qualities in the early seasons of Vanderpump Rules, opens the two-and-a-half-minute teaser by saying, “The concrete jungle, the hardcore city life, that’s for when you’re in your twenties. But, I’m 40 now, the Valley is where I need to be.”

The returning reality star is then shown discussing her future with boyfriend Luke Broderick as she says, “I can’t just get knocked up any day of the week. We’re still trying to figure out my ovulation. But, it’s not that we don’t practice.”

Taylor and wife Brittany Cartwright, both of whom previously starred on Vanderpump Rules, will also appear in the new series as they tackle marriage and parenthood.

“The Valley is the next chapter of our lives,” Taylor says, while Cartwright adds, “It’s nice to have a lot of friends around us who are kind of in the same phase of their life.”

So, who are these friends, you ask? The trailer first introduces Michelle Lally, the “bougiest” of the bunch, and her husband Jesse Lally, who met Taylor as a 23-year-old model in New York City and has epically dubbed himself the “number one crier in the group.”

“I had a friend of mine tell me, ‘Once I realized that you know you’re a douchebag, you were so charming to me,'” Jesse tells the cameras.

We also get to meet Nia Booko and Danny Booko, who, according to his castmates, has a “dark side” when he drinks. Still, Doute says the husband-and-wife duo are “couple goals” and “family goals.”

Then we have Jason Capera and his pregnant wife Janet Capera, who describes herself as “passive aggressive, or maybe just aggressive.” Despite being very pregnant, Janet still manages to get into tense disagreements with her castmates, specifically Zack Wickham, who previously lived in the same apartment complex as her and co-star Jasmine Goode.

While Wickham is convinced Janet got pregnant so he wouldn’t be able to yell at her, that doesn’t seem to stop their feuding. “I couldn’t give a shit less,” he fumes in one scene, to which she replies, “I don’t need trash in my life.”

Wickham adds in his confessional, “All these people move to the Valley, get a house, pop out a couple of kids, and then they think they’re so grown up. But these people don’t grow up.”

This was the perfect time to queue in Doute and Taylor, who have a loooong history on Pump Rules.

“I’ve done therapy twice this week just over this group of people,” Doute says, while Taylor adds, “Who’s her therapist? Because that person needs to be fired.”

The Valley premieres on Tuesday, March 19 following Vanderpump Rules on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream on Peacock the following day.
