It’s amazing to us that, fifty years after she wrote her last novel, Agatha Christie‘s whodunits are still being made into popular movies, series and miniseries. BritBox, the streaming service owned in the U.S. by the BBC and ITV, has almost 200 million minutes of Christie material alone, making it one of the most comprehensive collections for people who are fans of Christie’s mysteries.

The streamer’s latest adaptation is Agatha Christie’s Murder Is Easy, based on Christie’s 1939 novel. In the novel, Luke Fitzwilliam (David Jonsson, Rye Lane) meets a woman on a train to London who is going to Scotland Yard to talk about a serial killer in her village, and tells him who the previous and next victims are. When the woman herself turns up dead, Fitzwilliam travels to the village to find out who the killer is.

In this exclusive clip, Fitzwilliam and Bridget Conway (Morfydd Clark, Rings Of Power) the fiancée of the lord of the manor where Fitzwilliam is staying, are interrupted by a scream in the woods surrounding the estate. They run to see that the serial killer has claimed another victim. One of the villagers who found the body tells Fitzwilliam in no uncertain terms that his presence isn’t helping matters.
