Eva Longoria Signs A Lease At The Arconia As She Joins The Cast Of ‘Only Murders In The Building’

The Hulu comedy-mystery series Only Murders In The Building is heading into its fourth season, and waiting to find out the new residents of the Arconia apartment building is a little like waiting to see who’s going to be checking into the White Lotus — but no matter who it is, you know it’s going to be good.

It was announced recently that Molly Shannon will be joining the cast, and now we know that Eva Longoria will appear in a recurring role this season. Though many of the details of the new season haven’t been revealed yet, Craig Erwich, the President of Disney Television Group, did tell Deadline that there will be a change of scenery.

Plus, he revealed that Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez‘s characters will “take a little break from the apartment building and come to Los Angeles” in Season 4 before heading back to the Arconia.

Shannon’s character, whose name has not yet been revealed, will be “a high powered LA business woman who finds herself drawn into the world of the investigation in New York.”

As of now, there are very few details about the character that Longoria will be playing.

Only Murders is one of several projects Longoria will be working on this year. Her dual-language Apple TV+ dramedy Land of Women will premiere on that platform this summer, a new season of her CNN series Eva Longoria: Searching for Mexico will be premiering in March, and she’s set to produce and direct a Spanish-language version of the acclaimed French series Call My Agent.

There has been no premiere date set for Only Murders Season 4, but fans can currently stream Seasons 1 through 3 on Hulu.
