Shaun Weiss, the actor best known for starring in the Disney franchise The Mighty Ducks, took to social media to assure fans he has been maintaining his sobriety.

Fans became concerned for Weiss after he recently shared a video on social media expressing how grateful he felt about his career since starring in the Disney series as a child actor. Many in the comments appeared to believe that he had relapsed.

Weiss shared another video Wednesday to address their concerns.

“I’m OK, you don’t have to worry about me, but thank you. It’s very sweet,” he said.

Speaking to TMZ, Weiss maintained that he is still “100% clean and has not relapsed.”

“If I ever need help I promise I will reach out to people. No going backward,” he vowed.

He also explained that the red substance on his forehead in the video that appeared to concern fans was actually “consecrated ash” from a yoga practitioner that is meant to “activate [his] third eye.”

Weiss credited yoga with keeping his mental health on track. “It has been a game changer in terms of my overall balance and levels of joy,” he said.

The actor recently celebrated “four years clean” alongside a number of former ’90s stars at a comedy show in Tarzana, California.

Comedian Ryan Talmo, who hosted the event, praised Weiss in a social media post.

“We all came together because we love Shaun and to see him healthy and living his life at his fullest. Every year is a celebration! Because you’re bringing everyone together. Happy 4 Birthday! Love you sir!” he wrote.
