The Zone of Interest

Powered by Reelgood

If you’re trying to catch all of the Best Picture nominees before the Oscars roll around on March 10, now’s you’re chance to watch The Zone of Interest at home. The film is new on VOD this week, along with dozens of other new titles including lighter fare like the new remake of Tina Fey’s Mean Girls, and the Glen Powell-Sydney Sweeney rom-com Anyone But You.

In Anyone But You, Sweeney and Powell star as Bea and Ben, a couple who share a great first date that ends on a bad note when Bea overhears Ben disparaging her to a friend. Several months later, they unhappily reunite on a plane where it turns out they’re both headed to the same wedding in Australia. The plot, loosely based on William Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing, is filled with people trying to get Bea and Ben together at the wedding (and others trying to keep them apart), as they come to realize their true feelings for one another.

These are just a few of the films that are available to watch on Amazon Prime Video, iTunes, YouTube, and through your cable service this week. Check out what movies are available to buy or rent on demand now.

The Zone of Interest

Nominated for 5 Oscars, Jonathan Glazer’s The Zone of Interest stars Christian Friedel as Nazi commandant Rudolf Höss, the head of the Auschwitz concentration camp. Rudolf and his wife Hedwig (Sandra Hüller) live in a home that abuts the camp, and the film captures the grim juxtaposition of their family’s idyllic life that carries on in spite of atrocities that are committed within earshot of their home.

Mean Girls (2024)

In this musical remake of 2004’s Mean Girls, Angourie Rice stars as Cady Heron and Renee Rapp stars as head of the Plastics, Regina George. As newcomer Cady attempts to figure out where she fits in at her new high school, she ends up infiltrating the popular Plastics in order to sabotage their leader, Regina. The film co-stars Busy Philipps, Tina Fey, and Auliʻi Cravalho and features cameos from Jon Hamm, Lindsay Lohan, and Megan Thee Stallion.
