New Movies on Streaming: ‘Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom’ + More

It’s time to catch up on some movies this week now that some big titles are new on VOD! First up, you can check out Jason Momoa in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, or you can watch Adam Driver become an Italian automotive legend in Ferrari. Or if you want something for the whole family, check out Disney’s Wish.

Wish is Disney’s newest original animated film featuring the voice talents of Ariana DeBose, Chris Pine, Natasha Rothwell and many others, and is something of an homage to the animation studio itself, with the premise being what happens when you wish upon a star and that wish comes true.

These are just a few of the films that are available to watch on Amazon Prime Video, iTunes, YouTube, and through your cable service this week. Check out what movies are available to buy or rent on demand now.

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom

Jason Momoa is back as Aquaman/Arthur Curry in the James Wan-directed sequel Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, which is already out on demand, and this time around, Aquaman has to fend off Black Manta (Yahya Abdul Mateen II), who has a vendetta against him. Amber Heard, Patrick Wilson, Dolph Lundgren, and Nicole Kidman have all returned for the sequel as well.

Ferrari

Adam Driver is cornering the market on playing Italian titans of luxury goods, first in 2021’s House of Gucci and now as Enzo Ferrari in Ferrari. Directed by Michael Mann, Ferrari tells the story of Enzo’s often turbulent and tragic ascent as he builds up his namesake racing team during the 1957 Mille Miglia endurance race along with bolstering his automotive brand. Penelope Cruz, Patrick Duffy and Shailene Woodley co-star in the film.
