Fans of the British All Creatures Great and Small are longing for a Season 5.

The vet drama is inspired by the literary works of veterinarian James Alfred “Alf” Wight, who assumes the pen name of James Herriot, and is portrayed on screen by Nicholas Ralph. This series is the second iteration of the novels, following its original TV adaptation that debuted in the ’70s.

The series also features the talents of Anna Madeley, Callum Woodhouse, Samuel West, and Rachel Shenton, per PBS.

Decider contributor Joel Keller urged prospective viewers to stream All Creatures Great and Small in 2021 following its US debut on PBS, highlighting its “fine performances and spectacular cinematography.”

Will there be a Season 5 of All Creatures Great and Small?

Yes! On Feb. 23, news broke that All Creatures Great and Small has been renewed for Seasons 5 and 6. Additionally, fans also learned that Callum Woodhouse will be back as Tristan Farnon in Season 5.

Where to watch All Creatures Great and Small

While the U.K.’s Channel 5 serves as the broadcast home of All Creatures Great and Small, Season 4 debuted in the U.S. on PBS Passport’s Masterpiece on Jan. 7, and concluded its run on Sunday, Feb. 18 at 9/8 c, per The Yorkshire Post.

Prime Video subscribers can stream the series with a PBS Masterpiece add-on, and a week-long free trial is available to prospective customers. Individual episodes are also available for purchase on Prime Video.
