Reba McEntire is here to stay — on The Voice, that is.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the country star posted on X (the platform formerly known as Twitter) in order to change the tune of those under the false impression that she was leaving the hit NBC reality competition show.

“Please do not click on any articles that say I’m leaving The Voice,” she wrote on Sunday (Feb. 25). “This is not true. These are fake websites to lure people in with clickbait where they claim I have a company to sell weight loss gummy products. This is false. I do not sell or promote any type of gummy product.”

She also took to Instagram to spread the word, per TODAY.com.

While McEntire officially became a coach on Season 24, she served as the series’ Mega Mentor the previous season. Not only that, but she was former The Voice coach Blake Shelton‘s inaugural Battle Advisor during the show’s debut season back in 2011, and she also came back as a mentor in Season 8, per NBC Insider.

According to TV Insider, rumors alleging that she wasn’t happy being a coach and was considering exiting had started spreading online last October. However, McEntire has seemingly expressed otherwise in interviews, such as in one with People last December, where she opened up about her first season as a coach and enjoying her time “working with the contestants [and] hanging out with the coaches.”

“I’ve had so much fun,” she shared. “And the crew is wonderful. I’ve gotten to meet so many people that I’ll never forget.”

This season, McEntire’s fellow coaches are Dan + Shay, John Legend, and Chance the Rapper. Season 25 marks Dan + Shay’s — the duo of Dan Smeyers and Shay Mooney — first season on The Voice, and the two country artists spoke to People about competing against McEntire, who Mooney referred to as “the queen of country music.”

“I mean Reba is on there, and it’s a very intimidating thing because she’s… Reba,” Mooney noted. “I mean, when you have one name, that’s how you know you really made it!”

McEntire recently showed off her vocal prowess at this year’s Super Bowl pregame while performing the National Anthem.

“What an honor!” she wrote on X following her performance. “Thank you @NFL for having me! #SBLVIII.”

The Voice Season 25 debuts tonight — Monday, Feb. 26 — at 8 p.m. ET on NBC. Next-day streaming is available on Peacock.
