Jennifer Lopez has a Valentine’s Day gift for the world today: The global premiere of This Is Me Now… A Love Story, which is now streaming on Amazon Prime. She’s a few days late, but she’s JLo, so we’ll forgive her.
This Is Me… Now: A Love Story is technically not a movie. It’s more of a “visual album,” akin to Beyoncé’s Lemonade, but with less poetry, and more camp. The “cinematic original,” as Amazon has taken to calling it, is a 65-minute special that was released in tandem with Lopez’s next studio album, This Is Me… Now. The title is a play on Lopez’s 2002 album, This Is Me… Then, which the pop star released during the height of her highly publicized relationship with Ben Affleck.
Now, over 20 years and quite a few relationships and marriages later, Lopez and Affleck are once again back together. Though he only appears briefly in the film—on a motorcycle and in a terrible fake nose and hate—This Is Me… Now: A Love Story is a tribute to Lopez and Affleck’s once-in-a-lifetime love story. It’s about Lopez’s journey after the Bennifer break-up, her many relationships, and her path to finding herself. It’s cheesy, campy, and relatable, and honestly, it’s a blast.

Jennifer Lopez’s This Is Me… Now movie will be released on streaming on Friday, February 16, on Amazon Prime Video. The movie will be free to all Amazon Prime subscribers. That said, depending on where you live, you may be able to watch the movie on Thursday, February 15. Read on to find out more.
