Usher And Alicia Keys Steam Up Super Bowl Halftime Show With Sweaty, Sexy Duet

That may have been the sweatiest halftime show we’ve seen in a long time.

Usher took the stage at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, where he was joined by Alicia Keys, Ludacris, and Lil Jon to perform some of his biggest hits at the 2024 Super Bowl. And he certainly delivered.

We already knew this was going to be a halftime show to remember when the Grammy Award-winning artist confirmed the show would be 2 minutes longer than most, clocking in at 15 minutes. And he made every second count, with everything from costume changes to a choreographed number on roller skates, not to mention an obligatory shirtless moment.

After a hilarious content warning that the performance may cause “singing, dancing, sweating, gyrating, possible relationship issues,” the singer launched into a choreographed performance of his 2004 single “Caught Up.”

But Usher was already drenched in sweat by the time Keys made a show-stopping entrance for “My Boo.” The pair shared some real chemistry on stage together as they belted the 2004 single.

And as many viewers on X noted, the R&B singer easily could have kept going. “He took his time onstage and it was exquisite,” one fan noted. “The man could have went for another hour and a half straight with HITS.”

We at Decider weren’t ready for the performance to end – and it looks like many at home could agree.

“Nah he gotta let all these songs ride I dont care if it’ll be a 2 hour show we ain’t in a rush to get back to that 10-3 game,” a fan wrote.

The performance also featured special appearances from H.E.R., will.i.am, and Jermaine Dupri.

Despite our predictions, Justin Bieber did not take the stage, though he does appear to be in attendance at the Super Bowl.

This halftime show was a refreshing return to showmanship that could only be achieved by someone who’s been giving it his all for over 30 years.
