Chelsea, I need you to dial it back about 10 notches.

The Love Is Blind contestant gets messy AF in the latest drop of episodes, which hit Netflix on February 28, 2024.

In Episode 10, “What Could Have Been,” Chelsea gets into an argument with her fiancé Jimmy because he went to the bar for “an hour” to celebrate his friend’s birthday.

Earlier in the season, Chelsea met with his two friends, who she expressed skepticism about given that they were both women. However, she seemingly left the gathering in high spirits.

In the new episode, Chelsea and Jimmy get into an argument over his behavior the previous evening and begin to discuss the semantics of his outing, including how long he was gone, whether other women from the pods were present, and if he warned Chelsea of his “going out” habits before getting engaged.

The couple agrees that Jimmy was only gone for a short period of time, and Chelsea couldn’t give specifics about her various allegations. Jimmy leaves the patio to go into the apartment as the conversation gets heated, and begins to brush his teeth. Chelsea then expresses that she wants Jimmy to stop hanging out with his two female friends.

Chelsea explicitly asks him to stop hanging out with them and Jimmy says no.

“I don’t have a physical relationship with them,” Jimmy tells Chelsea. “I want you to trust me.”

“You do – you fucking do,” Chelsea responds. “I know you fucked her and you told me that.”

“Because I want you to trust me,” he says back.

Jimmy comes out from the bathroom, where he was brushing his teeth. “I told you off camera that I don’t want to talk about that,” he says. “It’s like a level of respect. I introduced you to her. I put her in a situation to be here on camera.”

Chelsea accuses Jimmy of having a “respect issue,” and cites that it’s inappropriate for him to be “calling, texting, and hanging out” with his friends while she’s out of town.

The big kicker is that when Chelsea grills Jimmy over who he was with last night, he says, “fraternity brothers and two of their girlfriends.” Chelsea claims he was with Jess, another woman he connected with in the pods. “I swear to God I was not with Jess,” Jimmy says. “I think you’re fishing.”

From there, the conversation only gets worse. “The only night that I have went out that you also didn’t go and be with your friends was last night, and I was out for an hour and a half total. I don’t think that’s unreasonable, I think this conversation is unreasonable,” Jimmy tells Chelsea before accusing her of being drunk.

The two make up in the next episode and are seen mingling in the next episode as if nothing happened, but we aren’t sure if it’s for the best.

The new season of Love Is Blind premiered on Feb. 14, 2024 and continues to air on Wednesdays until the finale, set for March 6, 2024. The following week will be the reunion special, which will feature a few surprise guests and be filmed in front of a live audience.

Following last week’s controversy with Chelsea and Jimmy, Chelsea went to Instagram to reveal that she’s been in therapy since the show ended. “Another thing that y’all are loving dragging me through the trenches for is being insecure,” she says in the video. “That is something that I have struggled with in the past. It’s been an issue that I really had to do a lot of work to overcome… A lot can change in a year.”

Love Is Blind is streaming on Netflix.
