Is ‘Madame Web’ Streaming on Netflix or Disney+?

Need a new superhero movie to add to your watchlist? Look no further than Madame Web, which officially came to theaters this week. Luckily, we have you covered on all the ways you can watch this new action flick!

Starring Dakota Johnson and Sydney Sweeney, Madame Web follows New York City-based paramedic Cassandra Webb (Johnson) who soon realizes she has the power to see the future — and ultimately change the outcome.

So where can you watch Madame Web? Is it on Netflix? What about Disney+?

Here’s everything we know about the upcoming movie:

WHERE TO WATCH MADAME WEB:

As of now, the only way to watch Madame Web is to head out to a movie theater. You can find a local showing on Fandango. Otherwise, you’ll just have to wait until it becomes available to rent or purchase on digital platforms like Vudu, Apple, YouTube and Amazon, or becomes available to stream on Netflix. Read on for more information.

WILL MADAME WEB BE ON NETFLIX?

Madame Web will likely be on Netflix as a result of a deal inked between the streaming platform and Sony Pictures Releasing that gives the streamer rights to all the company’s theatrical films starting in 2022.

While a streaming release date for Madame Web has not yet been announced, we can make an estimate based on another recent Sony film. The Pope’s Exorcist was released in theaters on April 14, before coming to Netflix on Aug. 16, 2023 — around four months after it debuted. If Madame Web follows the same pattern, we could be watching from the comfort of our homes by mid-June 2024.

WILL MADAME WEB BE ON DISNEY+?

No, Madame Web will not be on Disney+ since Sony Pictures Releasing is distributing the movie. Instead, you’ll just have to wait for it to come to Netflix or become available on digital platforms.
