Could this be the end for Curb Your Enthusiasm? The long-running Larry David comedy is currently filming its 12th season, but a tweet from producer Jon Hayman implies that the HBO series could be wrapping for good.

“Maybe you love the show. Maybe you hate the show. Maybe you don’t give a shit. In any event, shooting the last scene of the last episode of the final season,” Hayman wrote in a since-deleted message posted to Twitter today, which also included a photo of David and the Curb crew standing around a monitor on set.

Hayman’s tweet is the first news of Curb‘s potential end; the series was renewed for Season 12 in in August 2022. When HBO renewed the comedy for Season 11 in 2020, David joked, “Believe me, I’m as upset about this as you are. One day I can only hope that HBO will come to their senses and grant me the cancellation I so richly deserve.”

Decider has reached out to HBO to confirm the news shared in Hayman’s tweet.

Curb Your Enthusiasm first premiered on HBO in 2000. The show chronicles the everyday life of Larry David, a somewhat-fictionalized version of the comedian and creator of Seinfeld. Along with David, the series also stars Jeff Garlin, Cheryl Hines, Susie Essman  and J. B. Smoove, as well as Richard Lewis, Ted Danson, and Wanda Sykes, among others.

Curb Your Enthusiasm Season 12 does not yet have a release date.
